FOOD & DINING - LUXURY RESORT IN JIM CORBETT

Feast for the Foodie

Freshness, good health and taste are the hallmarks of Jaagar’s wholesome food. City dwellers simply relish our amazing range of dishes - many of them Kumaoni specialities like Aloo ke gutke, Ras bhaat and Jholi - prepared with organically grown and freshly plucked vegetables, condiments and herbs. The very sight of the vegetable gardens on our premises will whet your appetite. Join us in collecting farm fresh brinjals, cucumbers, tomatoes, ladies’ finger and some other vegetables of your choice for your next meal. Accompany our warm and knowledgeable staff to the apiary and experience the fragrance and taste of fresh honey as you add it to your glass of milk or cup of tea. Set aside all thoughts of food adulteration as you enjoy creamy lassi and curd prepared from fresh milk sourced from the village next door. Collect nutritious eggs from our own coops for a delightful range of preparations – masala omelettes, poached eggs, egg curry...all with a dash of some pure Jaagar condiments to enrich their taste.

Hold on, the journey of culinary surprises is not yet over! For those of you who wish to recreate the taste of a delectable dish for your loved ones back home, our chefs will welcome you into our kitchen and willingly share the recipe.

Experience the real advantage of country life, far from the madding crowd - professionals spend time with you at leisure to train you in the art of putting together just the right ingredients in the right quantity, marinate, stir and boil just to the right extent and triumphantly serve a delicacy to those, whose joys are the greatest reward of your life.

As the pleasure of a sumptuous meal is incomplete without a mouth watering dessert, we have our in-house bakery to pamper you with fresh bakes at different times of the day. Now, at least for this experience, stop counting calories and dig into some delectable fresh puddings, marble cakes, trouffle pastries, mud-pies and other such simple pleasures of life. After all, some sins are meant to be committed.
